Yoga Alliance Approves
Online Teacher Training During Coronavirus!

Great news! Yoga Alliance has temporarily approved the Yoga Teachers College complete 200-hour teacher training course to be conducted via distance learning during COVID-19.

This means you can get fully certified at home, right now – you don’t have to wait. Even better, you’ll have a full 12 months to also join us for an in-person course too (optional, but so worth it if you can and no additional cost).

In case you didn’t know the Yoga Alliance 200hr certification is the industry standard for teachers internationally, and this is the first time it’s ever been possible to obtain this 100% online.

Official Statement from Yoga Alliance (N. America):

“In light of COVID-19, Yoga Alliance is making a temporary provision to allow its schools to offer contact hours in any of the five Educational Categories in a virtual format during currently-active teacher trainings.”

Statement from Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK organization):

“Our standards usually require 90% of the training to be carried out in person. However, given the current situation, we have made the decision to permit those teacher training courses currently running or due to take place in the next month to substitute contact hours for online teaching where necessary.”
